How to choose a moving blanket
Three things determine the quality of a moving blanket: weight, blanket material and binding material.
There are 3 different types of fabrics commonly used in moving blankets: non-woven polypropylene fiber, woven polyester and cotton/poly blendeds. Higher quality fabrics generally increase the overal weight of a moving blanket.

Our "Good ", or Economy, moving blankets and moving pads are made of non-woven polypropylene. Non-woven polypropylene is formed of long synthetic fibers that are NOT woven or knitted together, but rather are bonded together by pressure, heat, chemical, or solvent processes. Non-woven moving blankets are the least resistant to snags and tears and are very economical for one-time moves.

Our "Better" moving blankets and moving pads are made from a combination of non-woven polypropylene and woven polyester fibers. Woven polyester is formed from long poly fibers that are woven(or intertwined) with each other to form a much stronger fabric that is very durable and resistant to tears.

Our "Best" moving blankets and moving pad are manufactured using cotton/poly blends and offer ultimate protection and durability. The cotton fiber blend provides a softer touch and its thickness provides superior padding. Our "Best" moving blankets are the most durable moving blanket we offer and "hug" the item you are protecting better than polyester alone. The woven binding allows these moving blankets to be washed if they become soiled.
